Be advised that on March 22, 2024, the OACIQ Discipline Committee ordered that the real estate broker licence of Mr. Martin De Montigny, whose establishment is located in Pincourt, be suspended from May 3 to July 1, 2024 for committing the following offences:

Count 1: On or about February 25, 2021, following the signing of the brokerage contract to sell, unduly delayed the listing of Immovable 1 on an information listing service.

Count 2: On or about February 25, 2021, in the course of the performance of the brokerage contract to sell, failed to protect and promote the interests of his selling client 1 by solely and exclusively soliciting potential buyers from his personal list of buyers to visit and make a promise to purchase on Immovable 1.

Count 3: On or about February 26, 2021, in the course of the performance of the brokerage contract to sell, used unfair competition and client solicitation practices by prioritizing the presentation of the promise to purchase by promisor-buyers 1 without any competition, to the detriment of potential buyers and other licensees.

Count 4: On or about February 27, 2021, following the signing of the brokerage contract to sell, unduly delayed the listing of Immovable 2 on an information listing service.

Count 5: On or about February 27, 2021, in the course of the performance of the brokerage contract to sell, failed to protect and promote the interests of his selling client 2 by solely and exclusively soliciting potential buyers from his personal list of buyers to visit and make a promise to purchase on Immovable 2.

Count 6: On or about March 1, 2021, in the course of the performance of the brokerage contract to sell, used unfair competition and client solicitation practices by prioritizing the presentation of the promise to purchase by promisor-buyer 2 without any competition, to the detriment of potential buyers and other licensees.
