NOTICE OF A LICENCE SUSPENSION

NOTICE is hereby given that Bernard Ivan Lussier, former real estate broker, licence No. E1281, whose establishment was located in Rosemère, has notably been found guilty by the OACIQ Discipline Committee of the offences summarized below:
Count 1: Concerning an immovable, at all relevant times, failed to honour his commitment made on March 15, 2016 to the seller to “pay the certificate of location fees for a total amount of $800 and if less expensive, to refund the difference” as indicated in the Amendments form.
Count 2: As part of an investigation conducted by the Assistant Syndic concerning an immovable, failed to contact the Assistant Syndic a) on February 15, 2017 and b) on February 24, 2017, as he had promised to do on two occasions, by email.
Count 3: As of or about April 2017, in relation to file number 33-16-1932, failed to honour the commitment made before the Discipline Committee to pay the amount of $3,000 to a third party.
On December 13, 2018, the Court of Quebec confirmed the decision of the Discipline Committee ordering the suspension of Bernard Ivan Lussier's licence No. E1281 for a total period of 5 years, to be served whenever he becomes a licence holder again.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r.3).
