Informing your clients is part of your duties and obligations. You must do so objectively and be able to demonstrate the accuracy of the information provided by means of relevant documents. Above all, you must provide clear explanations by adapting to your different clients and making sure that all the information provided is understood.

  • Disclose all relevant factors, even unfavourable ones  
  • Clearly explain the content and consequences of clauses and forms 
  • Question your clients to make sure they understood the information provided
  • Inform your clients about the impossibility of carrying out a project, for example due to a particular zoning or flood zone
  • Be proactive, do not wait for questions from the buyer or seller  
  • Keep proof that information was provided by placing notes, emails, and relevant documents on file.
